What MAXA is All About 

It all started when…

Michael (Mike) Aguilar, a founding member, began his journey in 1995 as an elevator apprentice with the University of Houston.  At U of H, he gained his knowledge in working with the different types of proprietary OEM controllers. Throughout his time he lead and assisted in modernizing 95% of the elevators at the university with non-proprietary controllers.  He gained his Certified Elevator Technician-Supervisor (CET-S) License from NAEC in 2005, Qualified Elevator Inspector (QEI) License from NAESA in 2010 and is a registered license elevator inspector with the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulations since 2010.  After 31 years of excellent service with U of H, he retired as the Supervisor of the Elevator Shop at the age of 49. 

His eagerness to grow and learning from the best, union and non-union brothers, the trade has turned him into one of the most knowledgeable and respected persons in the elevator industry. With his 25 years of experience in the elevator industry, and not ready to retire, Mike and his spouse, Xochitl, decided to create their own elevator company.  

MAXA Elevator Solutions, LLC is a new family owned and operated company in Houston, Texas.  We are dedicated to providing high quality elevator services to our customers in the great State of Texas and will work hard to build long-term trusting relationships with our customers, suppliers, sub-contractors, and other interested parties.
